How the Daily Brain Check works
The Daily Brain Check is a free, 90-second check of your reflexes, memory and focus, in three short parts. A new brain check goes live every day, and everyone gets the same one, so you can compare your Brain Score with friends and family.
- Reflex: tap the moment the panel turns green. Your score is the average of your four fastest taps.
- Memory: watch a pattern of glowing tiles and repeat it. Each level adds one more step.
- Focus: a color word appears in a different ink color. Pick the ink color, not the word, as many times as you can in 30 seconds. Psychologists call this the Stroop effect.
What your score means
Each check is compared with typical results for that kind of task, and the three results are combined into your Brain Score, from 0 to 1,000. A score around 500 is typical. Your result can change from day to day with sleep, stress, caffeine and even the device you use, which is part of the fun.
The Daily Brain Check is for fun and general wellness. It is not a medical or cognitive assessment and cannot diagnose any condition. If you notice ongoing changes in memory or attention, talk to a doctor.
How to challenge your friends
When you finish, you get a score card. Tap Share my score card or send it straight to WhatsApp, Facebook, X or Telegram. Your link opens today’s exact brain check and shows your score, so your friends know the number to beat.
Simple habits for a sharper brain
- Sleep 7 to 9 hours. Sleep helps the brain store new memories.
- Move every day. Regular exercise is linked to better attention and memory.
- Keep learning. New skills, puzzles and conversations keep the brain busy.
- Protect your hearing. Hearing loss is linked to faster cognitive decline.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Daily Brain Check free?
Yes. It is free, needs no account and works on phones, tablets and computers.
Do you store my results?
Your scores and streak are saved only in your own browser. Daily Health View receives only anonymous score totals, with no name or personal details, to keep the comparisons up to date.
Why is my reflex time different on my phone?
Touch screens and displays add a small delay. For a fair comparison, compare scores from similar devices.
Can I check my brain more than once a day?
Your first brain check of the day is your official score. After that you can do practice rounds as many times as you like.
